Warning! New EPA Refrigerant Mandate Affecting Homeowners
Starting January 1st, 2025, a new EPA mandate will take effect. This new mandate aims to phase out the use of R-410A in residential HVAC systems. What does this mean for you? As manufacturers transition to R-454B and R32 compliant systems, prices for new replacements are expected to increase, and there could be significant delays in equipment availability. Replacing with these newer systems may also require modifications to your existing setup. If your current HVAC system is aging or nearing replacement, now is the time to act!
